Greg Copeland brings 20 years of legal industry experience to his work as a law firm consultant, attorney coach, and legal recruiter at RJH Consulting. A licensed attorney with a JD and deep roots in the legal profession, Greg understands law firms from both sides — as a practitioner and as an operational advisor.
Greg’s consulting work focuses on the people side of firm growth: finding the right talent, developing the right culture, and building the client retention strategies that make growth stick. He specializes in working with solo attorneys, small law firms, and mid-size practices — guiding them through the full spectrum of growth challenges, from finding and keeping great people to succession planning and long-term strategy.
As a legal recruiter, Greg has developed a national network of legal talent — including high-performing passive candidates who aren’t actively job-hunting but are open to the right opportunity. He doesn’t just place bodies in seats. He builds scorecards, assesses team fit, conducts in-depth vetting, and presents candidates with the confidence that they’ll succeed in the role and within the firm’s culture.
As an attorney coach, Greg provides one-on-one strategic coaching for attorneys navigating career transitions, practice growth, business development challenges, and succession planning. His approach is grounded in listening first — understanding where a client wants to go before building the path to get there.
